Distances are measured from the camera's optical center.
These thresholds determine whether a pattern variant is marked 'Meets guidelines' or 'Needs review' in the comparison. They are provisional calculator defaults, not CALITAR product specifications or detection guarantees; adjust for your detector and image quality.
Default thresholds are 20 px per checker square, 4 px per marker cell and 10 px per circle diameter.
Uses centered, distortion-free projection and assumes fixed focus. Fisheye projection and calibration accuracy are not modeled. Check each camera separately.
